Twin houses, respectively 2,400 and 1,900 sq ft, reside on a steep lot in the Eureka Valley below Mission St.  The ascent and descent of movement along a concrete wall and stair is synchronized with the flow of rainwater through an adjacent channel.  The rooms within are placed like rocks within the flow of water and motion. A linear clerestory weaves through the project, countering the solidity of the concrete stair and wall.
