Inspired by Chinese landscape paintings, a translucent volume transforms a 30’
x 90’ corner lot on the main commercial street in Venice into a 4,000 sq ft
sequence of naturally illuminated spaces. The journey from ground floor retail
through a restaurant to the rooftop teahouse is through a Zen garden.
