Five single-family 1,400-2,400 sq ft homes form a classic California courtyard.
Developed under the LA Small Lot Ordinance, the two rear houses are archetypal
Venice alley dwellings above the required parking. Pitched roofs provide high
interior ceilings and enable water reclamation. The 2nd floor alternates
translucent and transparent glass zones that frame views, modulate natural
light, and provide natural ventilation.
